Thomas and Abbeys journey started with a simple coffee date at Cool Beans in Marietta Square. At first she was concerned that he lived outside the perimeter (OTP) but once they sat down for a coffee, her worries lifted. Thomas and Abbey chatted about the many things they had in common; their love for travel, good food, and spending time with friends and family. From there, they began to enjoy those things together.


Abbey still remembers the first time Thomas cooked for her. He made a beautiful spread of salmon, shrimp, avocado puree, and more. Thomas still remembers the first time Abbey cooked for him. She made cheesy meatloaf and cut her hand open.... And that is when Abbey realized, Thomas might be the boss in the kitchen.


Although Marietta might be Thomas and Abbeys favorite place to hang out at, they have not let the square keep them from having other great adventures. Thomas and Abbey have so many special memories in Montreat, Detroit, Germany, and most of all Vienna (where Thomas proposed). They cannot wait to continue their pétanque journey as partners in both life and the court.


They are so excited to start this new chapter of their lives and cannot wait to celebrate with everyone they love.
