It all started quite simply: a few mutual friends, a casual introduction, and a connection that we couldn't ignore. What began as a friendship quickly grew into five years of shared laughter, growth, and countless memories.

Just one day shy of our five-year anniversary, we headed to Alto Pass, IL for what I thought was a relaxing weekend getaway with my cousin and her husband. Little did I know, the celebration was starting a day early!

Right after he got down on one knee, he revealed the ultimate surprise: both of our parents walked out to join us! He had secretly coordinated for my parents and his mom to drive down and hide so they could witness the moment.

Surrounded by some of the most important people in our lives, Matt got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. It was the easiest 'Yes' I’ve ever said. We’ve spent five amazing years building our foundation, and we are so ready to start the next chapter as Husband and Wife!
