Abigail and Keaton have been together for six years.

The two first met at Beloit College and became friends in the sketch comedy group "Adult Themes". As time went on, they each followed their paths, yet they kept being drawn back to each other.

They decided to start dating at the end of February 2019. The new couple enjoyed their time together throughout the year until disaster struct and changed their trajectory. The Covid-19 Pandemic completely shut down their lives.

With Abigail being from Oregon and Keaton being from Wisconsin the two found themselves living thousands of miles away with the world shut down. But this did not stop their love. The two could be found constantly texting or on a video call trying to enjoy the time they could have together.

Keaton graduated that spring with an online slide show and Abigail cheering him on from states away. Abigail wanted nothing more than to be able to return to her college campus to be closer to him.

Starting her senior year in the fall of 2020, Abigail was welcomed back to campus. Keaton found himself stuck in Wisconsin as his plan to move to Japan for work had been put on hold with the program being delayed. Still the bustle of school and the caution of others made the short distance between the Wisconsin towns feel all too far.

The texting and video chatting continued now with conversations of what would their future together look like once Abigail graduated and Keaton was able to go to Japan. Was long distance something they wanted to do?

When spring rolled around and graduation came Keaton was able to come and celebrate after what had felt like an eternity. Being together made the couple feel new again and they didn't want to be apart. In preparation for Keaton moving to Japan they decided that it was worth giving long distance a shot. What was the point of feeling so much love and joy with someone and not at least try working through a temporary long distance relationship?

Keaton went on to pursue an opportunity in Japan for three years. Abigail found herself yearning for more purpose and decided to move to Long Island in New York to pursue her master's degree. She had calculated that by the time she finished her degree Keaton would be returning home and they would be able to truly start their life together.

Unbeknownst to Abigail, Keaton changed his mind and decided he would come home a year early. It was later revealed Keaton claimed he wanted to come home to marry Abigail.

After two years apart the two were reunited. It didn't take long before Keaton got down on one knee and proposed. The couple was engaged in December 2023. Abigail finished up her master's degree that following spring and the newly engaged couple decided to pack up their lives and moved across the country to Seattle to settle down.

The adventures of the last six years have only solidified how much they love each other and want to build a future together.
