Mitch and I met while attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha. We sat across the aisle from each other in Management Information Systems class. I would look over at the clock, pretending to check the time but really just trying to steal a glance at Mitch! We quickly became close, even after Mitch admitting he had a serious mullet that was usually kept hidden under his hat!


The proposal was in October 2022 at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. We then spent the rest of the trip celebrating our engagement, taking a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains and driving the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. We then headed to Charlotte where our friends had planned a surprise celebration.


We have been together for nearly 6 years. During that time, we’ve moved in together and in 2020 hopped on the trend of getting a dog. Most of you have probably met the 75 pound ball of energy Henry, he keeps us entertained and constantly moving. We’re fortunate to have celebrated many milestones together.
