A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
Fortunately, for Adam and Aaron, they had several to view as they scanned each others' dating profiles before they swiped right and matched on Tinder. Adam was home visiting his family in Illinois and Aaron was off on a 4th of July holiday at Big Bear Lake with friends and family. But that didn't stop either of them from sending each other message after message the entire time. Texts led to video messages. And eventually, they agreed to a first date upon Adam's return to Los Angeles.
Since it was the summer of 2020, they had to be creative with how their first date would play out. Adam agreed to meet Aaron at his place for dinner out on the back patio. (Hey! Pizza was involved so of course there was no arm twisting involved.) The moment the two met and began conversing, there was an instant connection. The first date led to a second one the following day; a picnic at Echo Park. Over Rose, fruit rollups and cookies they shared their lives and what they hoped for the future.

From there... adventures and memories continued to unfold. Adam and Aaron continued to build their life together. Which involved moving to the valley in the winter of 2022. Laughing and dancing and supporting each other through life's rollercoaster.

And every moment of small joy in between.
Leading up to one date night in December at an escape room in Hollywood. After spending the entirety of the room stressing out trying to find all the clues to get out of there, Adam didn't know Aaron was equally as stressed waiting to pop the question. And sure enough, as Adam opened the final clue to finish the game, Aaron was down on his knee ready to begin a whole new game and adventure with him.
They couldn't be happier to be getting married this coming spring! And can't to see what new adventures unfold!
