Our Wedding

It all started with my sister, McKayla. For the longest time, she kept bringing up this guy named Adam. She’d casually drop his name into conversations, always with a little smile and a not-so-subtle hint: “You two would be perfect for each other.” I brushed it off, thinking she was just being her usual matchmaking self. But McKayla was right. The day I finally met Adam, everything just… made sense. There was something about him—the way he made me feel completely at ease, like I’d known him forever. That first conversation turned into a connection neither of us expected, but both of us knew was something special. From that moment on, our story unfolded naturally. We laughed, we grew, we became each other’s safe place. The everyday moments—making dinner, long drives, quiet evenings—were no longer ordinary. With Adam, everything felt like home. Then came April 19th. Under the sweeping oak trees, on the very land where we’ll one day build our forever home, Adam got down on one knee and asked me the easiest question I’ve ever answered. With tears (happy ones!) and hearts full, we said yes to forever. But our love didn’t just grow in the easy moments. Not long after we met, life threw some unexpected challenges our way. Instead of pulling away, Adam stayed. He was steady when I wasn’t. He held my hand through doctor visits, wiped tears I couldn’t hide, and reminded me daily that I wasn’t facing anything alone. The vows say “for better or for worse, in sickness and in health”—but for us, the sickness came first. And still, he chose me. Over and over again. This isn’t just our love story. It’s the beginning of a life we can’t wait to build together—rooted in faith, family, and that perfect setup from my sister.
