It all started back in 2006, when the Swoyer family packed up their Kansas life and headed north to the land of 10,000 lakes—Willmar, Minnesota on Richland Ave, SW to be exact. Fast forward to 2019. Alex moved back to Willmar, armed with a shiny new degree and a “big girl” job with the City of Willmar Parks and Recreation. She was feeling professional, responsible and only slightly panicked. That's when she reconnected with a familiar face- Nathanial. In the fall of 2019, we started working Youth Football together. After a football game, they went to Grizzly's to catch up on life and see who they were now. It became their thing to go out for dinner after football games and eventually, they started to spend more time with each other outside of football. Nathanial asked Alex to be his girlfriend in November of 2019. Now, they're gearing up for their biggest chapter yet—fueled with love, laughter, and probably way too many dogs and tree accidents. They can't wait to celebrate this next step with all the people who helped them get here!
