Our Wedding

On a chilly morning in late November, we started the day like any other; walking our dog Maxx through the local park, enjoying the quiet and the cold air. Ben mentioned we’d be heading to Newport to explore, and later joining his parents for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner. It sounded simple, sweet, and I didn’t think twice. As we drove to Beavertail State Park, I took charge of navigation (and somehow gave us the wrong turn), insisted on a coffee, and unknowingly delayed what would become one of the most unforgettable moments of our lives. When we arrived, the view took my breath away. We bundled up and walked out to the rocks, taking in the stillness and beauty of the ocean. He picked his favorite spot on the water at sunset to propose. We ended the night with a dinner reservation to celebrate.
