We met in a small town called Grahamstown where Alexia had moved to study at Rhodes University.

Nazeem first saw her from a distance while attending mass at St Patrick's on a Sunday afternoon.

As the weeks went on he looked forward to going to mass to see Alexia sitting at the front of the church.

Then one night, fate intervened and they met while both out for a night on the town with their friends. Since that night they became inseparable.

They spent everyday of the next 3 years together. Alexia went on to complete her Pharmacy degree and moved back to hometown Boksburg, Johannesburg while Nazeem went on to finish his honours in Industrial and Economic Sociology. Long distance was hard but they video called everyday and visited often. That was 6 years ago.

She became a part of his family and him of hers.

Then on the 17 December 2021 he got down on one knee, much to her surprise, while they were out to dinner at Vini's restaurant and she said Yes!

We are so excited to finally tie the knot and become Husband and Wife!
