Seaside towns like Howth, Bray and Greystones are all accessible via the DART, Dublin's commuter rail network.

Several tour companies offer access to sites in the greater Dublin area like Newgrange and Glendalough (Allison's favorite place in Ireland!). These operators also offer excursions to places further afield like the Cliffs of Moher and the Giant's Causeway for those who will not be traveling beyond Dublin and Mullingar.
