We aren't 100% on the timing of our first meeting. It was sometime in the early 2000s during swim, school or mutual friends involved with both. Fast forward to 2016, we both happened to be having a drink with a friend at the same bar. A few drinks later, liquid courage set in and Kyler came up to say hi. The rest has been history every since. :)&nbsp;

Kyler had convinced me that he had won massages in a school raffle when he was working Excelsior Springs - he had me pick a weekend and of course I&nbsp;picked the soonest available. Mind you, I&nbsp;was prepared for a massage - not for what was actually to come - no make up, sweat pants, hair a mess! Anyways, we keep driving north for some time, I didn't think too much of it until we kept driving and this one particular area started to look familiar. The thought that he was going to propose crossed my mind, but then I thought "no...he isn't doing that today..." Well, I was gladly wrong. A few moments later Kyler pulled up to the venue of our 1st date and asked me if I trusted him. My stomach dropped, but of course I trusted him. He had us sneak onto the property, sat me down on the bench of our 1st kiss and asked me to spend forever with him. I honestly couldn't think of a more perfect way :)

Our Story

Details

Haley is my oldest friend. I am fortunate enough to not be able to remember a single time in my life that she wasn't there. We grew up together, scraped our knees, experienced heart ache, watched her get married&nbsp;and so much more. Now, she is an incredible mother to Evan and baby C. Haley is one of the most beautiful people I know, inside &&nbsp;out! I am so very fortunate to have her up by my side on my big day.&nbsp;

The&nbsp;myth&nbsp;the&nbsp;man&nbsp;the&nbsp;legend,&nbsp;the&nbsp;best&nbsp;younger&nbsp;brother&nbsp;I&nbsp;could&nbsp;ask&nbsp;for.&nbsp;I've&nbsp;know&nbsp;him&nbsp;for&nbsp;his&nbsp;entire&nbsp;life,&nbsp;so&nbsp;I&nbsp;can&nbsp;vouch&nbsp;for&nbsp;his&nbsp;credentials.&nbsp;He&nbsp;can&nbsp;make&nbsp;a&nbsp;toast,&nbsp;sell&nbsp;an&nbsp;air&nbsp;conditioning&nbsp;unit&nbsp;bigger&nbsp;than&nbsp;your&nbsp;house,&nbsp;and&nbsp;run&nbsp;an&nbsp;in&nbsp;bounds&nbsp;play&nbsp;without&nbsp;breaking&nbsp;a&nbsp;sweat.&nbsp;I&nbsp;am&nbsp;so&nbsp;grateful&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;has&nbsp;stepped&nbsp;up&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;plate&nbsp;for&nbsp;me&nbsp;and&nbsp;my&nbsp;bride&nbsp;on&nbsp;our&nbsp;big&nbsp;day.&nbsp;

Garrett Wooldridge

Hannah moved across the street from me in 4th grade and I was so grateful!&nbsp;My whole world changed having a girl in a boy-filled neighborhood and we quickly became best friends.&nbsp;From swim team to softball and countless sleepovers, we were always by each others' sides. A good amount&nbsp;of my favorite memories from growing up will&nbsp;always be rooted with her. It's been so much fun watching her become a mom to Will and another one on the way.&nbsp;I was lucky enough to be the MOH at Hannah's wedding and&nbsp;I am so grateful she will be (one of) mine!&nbsp;&nbsp;

A&nbsp;fellow&nbsp;St.&nbsp;Therese&nbsp;alum,&nbsp;stellar&nbsp;electrician,&nbsp;and&nbsp;great&nbsp;friend.&nbsp;Taylor&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;most&nbsp;loyal,&nbsp;generous,&nbsp;and&nbsp;good&nbsp;hearted&nbsp;guy&nbsp;I&nbsp;know.&nbsp;I&nbsp;don't&nbsp;know&nbsp;anyone&nbsp;who&nbsp;works&nbsp;harder&nbsp;or&nbsp;anyone&nbsp;I&nbsp;would&nbsp;rather&nbsp;share&nbsp;a&nbsp;beer&nbsp;with.&nbsp;I&nbsp;always&nbsp;know&nbsp;I&nbsp;can&nbsp;count&nbsp;on&nbsp;him&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;there&nbsp;for&nbsp;me&nbsp;and&nbsp;crack&nbsp;me&nbsp;up&nbsp;when&nbsp;I&nbsp;need&nbsp;it.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Taylor White

Merritt is one of those friends you can always count on. She is there if&nbsp;I need a night out (like the night Kyler &&nbsp;I re-met!,) a good laugh, someone to listen and advise and so much more. She is the best friend that I&nbsp;have created countless laughs, memories, and (some) trouble with. We have been friends since middle school and she's been by my side during some the darkest moments and it wouldn't be right if she wasn't there during my brightest moment.&nbsp;

Co-Founder&nbsp;of&nbsp;Heritage&nbsp;Paper&nbsp;Clips&nbsp;Incorporated,&nbsp;Kansas&nbsp;City&nbsp;native,&nbsp;Brooklyn&nbsp;survivor,&nbsp;and&nbsp;currently&nbsp;a&nbsp;professional&nbsp;spirit&nbsp;guide&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Pacific&nbsp;Northwest.&nbsp;The&nbsp;only&nbsp;man&nbsp;I&nbsp;know&nbsp;to&nbsp;win&nbsp;a&nbsp;Che&nbsp;Guevara&nbsp;Look&nbsp;Alike&nbsp;Contest.&nbsp;He&nbsp;can&nbsp;talk&nbsp;your&nbsp;ear&nbsp;off,&nbsp;but&nbsp;it's&nbsp;worth&nbsp;it&nbsp;because&nbsp;he's&nbsp;the&nbsp;all&nbsp;around&nbsp;funniest&nbsp;person&nbsp;I&nbsp;know.&nbsp;

My&nbsp;oldest&nbsp;friend&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;world,&nbsp;Joe&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;true&nbsp;Renaissance&nbsp;Man,&nbsp;a&nbsp;gentleman&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;scholar.&nbsp;For&nbsp;nearly&nbsp;a&nbsp;quarter&nbsp;century&nbsp;Joe&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;my&nbsp;go&nbsp;to&nbsp;source&nbsp;for&nbsp;NFL&nbsp;hot&nbsp;takes&nbsp;and&nbsp;he&nbsp;will&nbsp;probably&nbsp;design&nbsp;the&nbsp;technology&nbsp;that&nbsp;saves&nbsp;your&nbsp;life&nbsp;one&nbsp;day.&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;stoked&nbsp;for&nbsp;him&nbsp;to&nbsp;make&nbsp;his&nbsp;return&nbsp;to&nbsp;KC&nbsp;from&nbsp;Boston&nbsp;this&nbsp;September,&nbsp;as&nbsp;long&nbsp;as&nbsp;he&nbsp;avoids&nbsp;a&nbsp;twelve&nbsp;foot&nbsp;New&nbsp;England&nbsp;snow&nbsp;drift.&nbsp;

Zoe is one of my favorite people in the whole world and I&nbsp;am lucky enough to call her my cousin. You can usually find her rock climbing, hiking or on an adventure somewhere. He&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;new&nbsp;person&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;when&nbsp;I&nbsp;left&nbsp;my&nbsp;small&nbsp;Catholic&nbsp;grade&nbsp;school&nbsp;and&nbsp;made&nbsp;the&nbsp;trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;big&nbsp;public&nbsp;high&nbsp;school&nbsp;up&nbsp;the&nbsp;road.&nbsp;Jordan&nbsp;took&nbsp;me&nbsp;under&nbsp;his&nbsp;wing&nbsp;and&nbsp;showed&nbsp;me&nbsp;ropes,&nbsp;like&nbsp;the&nbsp;big&nbsp;brother&nbsp;I&nbsp;never&nbsp;had.&nbsp;Jordan&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;great&nbsp;friend&nbsp;whom&nbsp;I&nbsp;can&nbsp;always&nbsp;depend&nbsp;on&nbsp;and&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;so&nbsp;excited&nbsp;he&nbsp;could&nbsp;make&nbsp;it&nbsp;for&nbsp;this&nbsp;awesome&nbsp;day.

Jenny just gets me. She is a friend that I know will never question the&nbsp;amount of time that's passed since we've talked or seen each other. I know that we can always meet up right where we left off. She has a pure, beautiful heart and would do most anything for a friend. She always makes me laugh and is also a girl who isn't afraid to hang with the boys & that might be one of my favorite things about her.

How&nbsp;do&nbsp;I&nbsp;explain&nbsp;THE&nbsp;Dillon&nbsp;Clark?&nbsp;For&nbsp;starters,&nbsp;he&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;king&nbsp;of&nbsp;knowing&nbsp;exactly&nbsp;what&nbsp;to&nbsp;do&nbsp;to&nbsp;push&nbsp;my&nbsp;buttons.&nbsp;However,&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;flip&nbsp;side,&nbsp;he&nbsp;is&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;best&nbsp;friends&nbsp;I've&nbsp;ever&nbsp;been&nbsp;fortunate&nbsp;enough&nbsp;to&nbsp;have.&nbsp;We've&nbsp;been&nbsp;through&nbsp;so&nbsp;much&nbsp;over&nbsp;the&nbsp;years&nbsp;and&nbsp;he's&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;pick&nbsp;up&nbsp;my&nbsp;pieces&nbsp;more&nbsp;than&nbsp;once.&nbsp;I&nbsp;know&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;always&nbsp;in&nbsp;for&nbsp;plenty&nbsp;of&nbsp;laughs&nbsp;and&nbsp;bit&nbsp;of&nbsp;trouble&nbsp;when&nbsp;Dillon's&nbsp;around.&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;eternally&nbsp;grateful&nbsp;for&nbsp;this&nbsp;former&nbsp;roommate&nbsp;of&nbsp;mine&nbsp;and&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;beyond&nbsp;excited&nbsp;to&nbsp;make&nbsp;him&nbsp;wear&nbsp;a&nbsp;dress&nbsp;(just&nbsp;kidding...or&nbsp;am&nbsp;I?&nbsp;😉)
