Our Wedding

Drew and Storm met in March of 2021. They had their first date at Cheddars on May 5th and from there it was the beginning of forever for the young couple. They spent the next month together from late night drives, going out to eat at various restaurants, drive-in movies to Storm’s graduation. Unfortunately the two would end up spending the next eight months over 500 hundred miles apart. They would FaceTime each and every day and even ride in airplanes for the first time for each other. Happily in January of 2022, the two moved in together into their happy apartment. They would then spend the eight months learning how to cook various meals, how often laundry should really be done, who does the dishes better, and how to balance making time for each other while both spending their days at work. In September of 2022, Drew planned a “birthday” vacation for Storm. They would drive down to her birth state to look at landmarks, play various holes of mini golf, visit her grandmom, and to her unsuspecting a proposal. They started their day with a trip to Saint Louis’s Union Station. There they took a virtual train ride to an aquarium where they touched moon jellyfish, stingrays, and multiple variations of fish. Next, they enjoyed a round of mini golf before hopping onto a 200 ft tall ferris wheel. After he became over his fear of heights they rushed through the busy traffic of downtown Saint Louis to get to their hotel room with just enough time to get dressed and rush back out into the heart of Saint Louis. While Storm was rushing to complete her makeup in the car, Drew was feeling the pressure of making it to the place where the magic would happen on time. Once they had parked behind a suspicious car with the license plate DEARHART, they ran across they cross walk to a beautiful fountain. Drew would then ask Storm to take go ahead and take pictures as he knew she would want to. However, instead of allowing her to take pictures, he took her phone and dropped down to one knee. Right there in the middle of a tourist attraction, in front of the Saint Louis arch, Drew asked Storm to spend the rest of their lives together. Without hesitation she said yes! A lovely couple walking by shouted their congratulations for the newly engaged. Once the tears of joy and excitement had its moment, a gentleman popped out of the shadows and introduced himself as the owner of DearHart photography. He congratulated us and primed Drew’s ego by gawking at the gorgeous ring. He then showed us the beautiful pictures of the engagement and raw emotion of the perfect moment. He then begin their first engagement session. After the excitement, they went back to the hotel to order nonetheless Dominoes.
