Park at the Zion Canyon Visitor Center and take the shuttle up the canyon. It takes approximately 45 mins to get the Temple of Sinawava. You will be amazed by the views along the way. Expect to have NO cell service. There are several hikes, scenic views, and a restaurant at the Zion Lodge along the way (although, we recommend bringing a lunch & snacks with you). The last stop is called the Temple of Sinawava, located at the top of the canyon. From here, you can walk along the paved Riverside Walk which is 2.2 miles round trip and takes about 1.5 hours to complete. If you are interested in hiking The Narrows, you would begin your trek here.
** See shuttle map below. You can catch the Springdale Line Shuttle in Springdale and take the shuttle into the park, instead of driving into the park. The closest shuttle spot is approximately 15 mins from Zion Wildflower Resort. This is a little less hectic than driving into the park. However, if you plan on visiting areas where there is no shuttle stop, we recommend driving into the park.
