We met in the most romantic of situations: work.*

In 2020, we worked together as Youth Workers at an alternative highschool. Our romance didn't start until the end of the school year. We started to flirt – Vic didn't think it was flirting at the time, but Andrew knew ;) – through playing pranks on one another. After a few weeks, Andrew built up the NERVE to ask out this amazing woman, after Vic gave him a solid nudge in the right direction. That was when we went on our first date! We ate tacos and ice cream at the beach on a lovely May Saturday. After a few years of hiking, board games, good meals, and falling in LOVE, Andrew asked Victoria to marry him [airhorn] ! She said yes at her family cabin in Hope on September 4th, 2023.

*One could say our love story dates back to November 2016 at a Trinity open mic when Vic saw – and recorded – Andrew performing 21 Guns by Green Day.
