In the Summer of 2018, we met using a dating app. We both were very nervous. Our first date was a Pixar movie, The Incredible 2, and a walk around River Ridge Mall. I talked his ear off and Andrew sipped on his Orange Fanta. Andy bought the tickets before I had even shown up to our date. It was that action alone that started our story.

Since that first date, we have been going on small to big adventures whether it was a trip to Roanoke, VA, or multiple trips to the Maryland Renaissance Festival.

The only way Andy does things best is on a whim. He made an impromptu venture to Claytor Nature Center in March 2024. Andrew had many frustrating moments where I wanted to go and check out other things in the park. However, his patience and determination succeeded after I was able to pet a stranger's dog and poke around the Belk Observatory. Andrew started his proposal with many questions and apologies before spinning me around to face him and ask the important question that leads us and you here today.

We are starting our new chapter in Portland, Oregon, where we'll explore the city's unique attractions. From the serene beauty of The Grotto to the tranquil Japanese Garden and the fascinating Portland Zoo, there's so much to see and experience.

Next, we'll travel to Tillamook, Oregon, to visit their creamery and to see Cape Meares. If we have time left, we hope to see Bigfoot and the last operating Blockbuster in the United States.
