September 19 Schedule

Free parking is available at the venue parking lot. There is also a free public parking garage across the street, and various free street parking in the surrounding area. The ceremony will take place in the ballroom on the second floor of the venue, accessible both by stairs and an elevator. Please arrive 10 minutes before the ceremony starts. Sit on either side of the isle; we're one big happy family now! After the ceremony, we will host a cocktail hour with an open bar on the first floor of the venue. The wedding party will be using this time to take photos. Then we will ask guests to move back upstairs into the ballroom for the reception. The reception will feature an open bar and heavy appetizers being served in a separate space across the hall from the ballroom.

WE WILL NOT BE SERVING A SIT-DOWN DINNER.

We are excited to have our guests mingle, reconnect and get to know new friends! We have the venue until midnight. For those of you who would like to keep the party going, stay in touch with the bride and groom :)

Day of Information

Home2 Suites By Hilton Ogden features free WiFi throughout the property and a rooms at the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a kitchenette, air conditioning and a desk. This hotel has an indoor pool, fitness center and hot tub, making it the preferred choice for families with kids. This is literally across the street from the wedding venue.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Ogden

This is technically attached to the Ogden Eccles Conference Center and has a fitness center and free WiFi throughout the property. This hotel is within walking distance of the wedding venue.

Hampton Inn & Suites Ogden

This hotel has a restaurant, fitness center, as well as an indoor pool and a hot tub. This hotel is within walking distance of the wedding venue.

Courtyard by Marriott Ogden

Fly In

Fly into the Salt Lake City Airport (SLC).If you fly into the A Terminal: Congratulations! You've won!If you fly into the B Terminal: Your walk through the airport to baggage claim and beyond will be a long one. Wear comfy shoes. The Salt Lake Airport is one massive building. You don't need to specify what terminal you're in for any drivers/taxis/etc.

Take the Train to Ogden

Exit the airport at ground level and hang a left. Walk over to the train station and board. You'll be on this train for about 15 minutes through several stops and get off at the North Temple Station stop. From here, you'll go downstairs and board the Frontrunner, headed north toward Ogden. This train ride will take about an hour, and you will get off at Ogden Station. This train is very nice and has air conditioning and wifi.<a href="https://www.rideuta.com/Rider-Tools/Schedules-and-Maps/750-FrontRunner" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Frontrunner Schedule</a><a href="https://www.rideuta.com/Fares-And-Passes/Current-Fares" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Train Pricing</a> This endeavor will cost you about $5 going one way. They do check tickets sometimes so we don't recommend trying to ride for free. THE FRONTRUNNER TRAIN DOES NOT RUN ON SUNDAYS. IT IS DUMB. WE KNOW. YOU CANNOT USE THE TRAIN TO GET TO THE AIRPORT ON SUNDAY.

Uber/Lyft to Ogden

This will cost you about $75 going one way, depending on the time of day. It takes about 45 minutes to get to Ogden in no traffic.

Rent a Car & Drive to Ogden

Hop in your shiny new wheels and head north on Interstate 15 toward Ogden. If you encounter traffic on the interstate, you can use Legacy Highway to head north, though due to the lower speed limit, it is a little slower. If there is more than one person in your car, you can use the carpool lane on Interstate 15. You can choose to eventually merge onto Highway 89 and continue heading north. Some people choose this route because they don't enjoy the interstate; both routes will get you to Ogden in the same amount of time. You can also just stay on the interstate. It takes about 45 minutes to get from the Salt Lake City Airport to Ogden in no traffic. There will be traffic and it will be annoying if you are attempting to drive north via any route 4-5 p.m. on Friday. We recommend getting a beer somewhere in Salt Lake City and waiting until closer to 6 p.m. to head north.

Getting Around Ogden

If you stay near the venue in Downtown Ogden, everything is very walkable. You will be surrounded with lots of restaurants, bars, breweries and fun little shops. Ubering anywhere throughout Ogden costs about $8-$10. North Ogden, Riverdale, Washington Terrace and Harrisville are all technically different towns, but they're all still very much "Ogden."

Travel to Utah

Ogden Farmers Market

Walkable from all hotels in downtown Ogden, the <a href="https://farmersmarketogden.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">farmers market on Historic 25th Street</a> is a fantastic way to spend a morning. Featuring vendors selling jewelry, decor, clothing and lots of food, we're sure you'll find a trinket or two to bring home. We can't recommend Z's Hot Sauce enough, as well as Bad Humor burgers and Dang Brothers Pizza. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/annaburleson/p/DAPDEkGzJMW/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">It's so fun!</a> More detailed info to come.

Oktoberfest at Snowbasin Resort

Located at the picturesque Snowbasin Ski Resort, this is a great idea for <a href="https://www.instagram.com/annaburleson/p/DBMLrNgO6X4/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">a Sunday activity.</a> After a picturesque 20-minute drive through the canyon and into the mountains, you can spend the afternoon drinking beer and listening to live music at <a href="https://www.snowbasin.com/events/snowwiesn-oktoberfest/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Snowbasin's Oktoberfest event.</a> We recommend you buy your admission ticket beforehand online. Yes, you do have to buy a ticket and pay for your beers separately, but we promise the views are worth it! More detailed info to come.

Hiking

So. Many. Hiking trails. Just point your car toward the mountain and drive and we promise you'll hit a hiking trail. We usually start at the 22nd Street, 27th Street or 29th Street trailheads and then follow the signs for <a href="https://www.instagram.com/annaburleson/p/C6CbklOOwKX/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bonneville Shoreline Trail.</a> This is a relatively easy hike and you can turn around and head back to your car at your leisure. Just follow the signs! Other options include: Waterfall Canyon Trail: About 2.5 miles - a little bit of a challenge toward the top and ends in a pretty waterfall.&nbsp; Malan’s Peak Trail: About 4.5 miles total but you can stop at the lookout halfway and still see an <a href="https://www.instagram.com/annaburleson/p/CuU-tuuunGe/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">amazing panoramic view</a> of Ogden all the way out to the Great Sale Lake. There are some steep parts on this one! We recommend starting from the 29th Street trailhead. Indian Trail: The internet says this one is about 8.5 miles and honestly <a href="https://www.instagram.com/annaburleson/p/COEITdIsSij/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">we’ve never finished it</a> - lots of trees with some bubbling brook action that takes you up into the mountains. Wheeler Canyon: For this one, you’ll need to drive partway through the canyon and park. This <a href="https://www.instagram.com/annaburleson/p/CjwdyLNM0u5/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">hilly hike has lots of tree cover </a>and will take you through to the area of Snowbasin.&nbsp;
