Cory and Annie have been together for 11 years. They met in high school when they swam against each other on separate teams. Cory swam for the Auburn Stingrays and Annie swam for the Cortland Stingers. During a swim meet at RIT, Cory spotted Annie after a race and followed her to the cool down pool to talk to her. He finally had his chance to talk to Annie to introduce himself and later asked for her number. Two years later, he asked her to his prom at a large swim meet in front of hundreds of people.

Ten years later, Cory proposed in August of 2023 on a wine cruise on the St. Lawrence River with both parents there to celebrate.

Cory and Annie live in Syracuse with their dog, Ellie!
