Our story began 13 years ago when we first met in middle school. During high school we were both part of the crew team, waking up early to practice, pushing ourselves to new limits, and creating memories that would last a lifetime. Little did we know back then that this shared experience would set the foundation for a love that has only grown stronger through the years.

After high school, we went our separate ways for college — Joshua to UMass Lowell and Ashley to Quinnipiac University. Despite the distance, our connection remained unwavering. We navigated the challenges of college life and stayed rooted in our relationship, learning and growing together. After four years, we both graduated, and with that milestone, we decided to take on an adventure — a road trip across the country. On that trip, our family grew as we added our two fur babies, Ino and Nala, to our lives. They quickly became a huge part of our journey together, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

After our road trip, we both began our careers, but life had more in store for us. When Ashley was accepted into grad school, we took the next step and moved to Connecticut to be together. A year later we found ourselves on the move again — back to Massachusetts for five months, then to Florida for seven months. There, we made a big leap and bought our first home.

Now, after 9 years of being in a relationship together and 1 year of being engaged, we’re beyond excited to celebrate our love with all of you. Our journey together has been full of adventures, new beginnings, and unforgettable moments. We can’t wait to continue writing our story — side by side, with our pups and each other, as we embark on this next chapter of our lives.
