Friends since grade two—about 35 years. Through ups and downs, distance, and silence, I’ve had the joy of watching Ashley grow into the most caring, compassionate, big‑hearted person I know. I’m Jeff Couture. I’ve been friends with David since we were about three or four years old. Growing up, you could find us playing road hockey, hide-and-seek, Super Nintendo, or riding our bikes around the park. As we got older, we bonded over movies—rentals in Mom’s basement or heading to the theater in New Glasgow with a crew. Nowadays you’ll find us on the golf course or visiting at the campground. I consider Dave a brother, and I’m honored to be a groomsman. I couldn’t be happier for Dave and Ashley—thanks for letting me be part of the special day.

Amanda St‑Germain Amanda has been friends with Ashley since primary school. They reconnected at 15 and were inseparable until Amanda moved to Victoria at 24. Now living in Germany, distance hasn’t changed their bond—Ashley remains one of her closest, dearest friends. Amanda is honored to stand by Ashley as a bridesmaid and can’t wait to celebrate David and Ashley on their special day.

Russ has known David for many years. They met at the gym and clicked right away. David has been an inspiration—his rapid physical transformation through diet and training and his thoughtful conversations have helped Russ work through problems and stay motivated. Russ cherishes the easy way they pick up after time apart, whether catching up over coffee or sharing what's new in their lives. He was honored when David asked him to be a groomsman and considers it a privilege to stand by him on September 19, 2026, in Hopewell, Nova Scotia.

Bridesmaid — sister‑in‑law to the bride. Karen has been lucky to know Ashley for about 13 years—ever since she started dating her brother. Over the years they’ve shared many laughs, from making complete fools of themselves on highway drives to their newest tradition of spending summer swim provincials together, cheering on the critters. Karen is very excited and honoured to stand by Ashley’s side as she begins this next chapter.

Ryan has known his sister Ashley his entire life and has been friends with David for the past four years. Ryan and David share a love of golf and hit the course together whenever they can. One of the things Ryan admires most about Ashley is how deeply she cares for her nieces and nephew—they can always count on her. Ryan is excited to watch his sister walk down the aisle and begin her forever with David.

Where do I start? My name is Laurida, and I have known Ashley for over 13 years, when I say we are very similar. We are very similar. We may have an age difference, but our life stories are mirror images of one another. We instantly clicked when we met. I took her under my wing, and from there on, we have never separated. Ava has had the joy of knowing Ashley her entire life. One of her favorite traditions is spending a week every summer in Cape Breton, helping out at Ashley’s boutique and salon. She loves every moment spent learning from and laughing with her amazing aunt.

Maddy has known the bride her entire life and loves every moment spent with her auntie. Some of her favorite times together include going on shopping trips and enjoying special family days filled with laughter and fun.

Reid has known Ashley his whole life and loves spending time with his family. Some of his favorite memories include family game nights and looking through Pokémon cards with David. He’s very excited to be part of his aunt’s special day.
