It all started in 2020! Kennedy had returned home after college and had just accepted a teaching position. She soon found out that her mom had a really cute new neighbor! Little did she know, Brett noticed her, too. All it took was Brett to say he had a piece of Kennedy's mail and a message on Snapchat, and their fate was sealed.

Soon, they were off on their first date... to McLaughlin, SD. After that, there were countless movie nights when Brett was too afraid to even sit on the same couch as Kennedy because he "didn't want to be too pushy." He ended up getting their dog Otto to impress her and seal the deal, and it worked!

Even with tough work schedules, they've continued to make it work for over three years now! They enjoy cooking together, taking Otto to the river, and, of course, staying in and having movie dates or watching cooking shows (Guys Grocery Games has some good recipe options).

They can't wait to see what their future holds and look forward to celebrating with you all!
