We were just two strangers scrolling through Coffee Meets Bagel when a simple swipe changed everything. We had no idea it would lead to a love story full of laughter, bad dance moves, wrestling jokes, and two very opinionated cats.

Our first date at K-Pacho? Definitely memorable—especially when Matt ended it by saying, “I have to go to the bathroom,” instead of walking me to my car. But somehow, that awkward goodbye turned into something really special.

As we got to know each other, we found out we’d both spent our summers in the Adirondacks without ever realizing it. Life’s funny like that. Before long, Fort Totten became one of our favorite spots—and eventually, the place where Matt proposed.

Now, we’ve got our little family: just us and our two cats, Willy and Petunia. Willy loves to mess with Matt (who totally pretends to hate it), and somehow it all works perfectly.

Since we met, Matt’s gone from Disney skeptic to full-blown Disney superfan. We’ve danced around the house to Disney songs, turned him into a loyal Mets fan, and bonded over our shared love for Broadway shows, 90 Day Fiancé, and his never-ending stream of ‘90s wrestling references (and yes, I still don’t fully understand Shoney’s).

We’re both teachers, and we’re so lucky to be in a relationship where we share the same passion for what we do—and get to support each other every step of the way.

At the heart of it all, we’re best friends. We laugh a lot, we love even harder, and we’re so excited to keep building this life together. We can’t wait to celebrate with the people we love most—hopefully with a little Disney magic, some Mets spirit, and a dash of Broadway sparkle.

As Walt Disney said, “We’re all just kids at heart.” And this adventure? It’s been the most magical one yet.
