Macey:

Cam and I have known each other a majority of our lives. Growing up in the same church we had the same friend group and would often hangout. The summer of 2016 we took a mission trip to New Orleans.

Cam:

Prior to the trip I expressed to my Dad that I was regretting signing up and didn’t want to go anymore… he told me “you never know you may make a new friend or find the love of your life.” Macey and I were lucky enough to be put into the same small group where we worked on a house and spread the word of Jesus.

Macey:

My brother, Jared, was also in our group. He messaged our mom during that trip and said “I don’t know what’s going on over here, but Macey and Cam are inseparable.” He was right! We had become best friends.

Cam:

Flash forward a month, August 9th, I asked Macey to be my girlfriend. We have spent nearly every day together since. And I honestly don’t remember my life without her.

Macey:

Cam and I think the exact same about almost everything and a lot of that we owe to the fact that we grew up together. We shaped each others opinions and learned about the world together.

We are excited to continue to learn and grow together throughout the rest of our lives. There are not many things in life that are certain, but there are two things we will never lose certainty of... our Faith in the Lord and our love for each other.

We thank God every day for allowing us one another.

We can’t wait to celebrate our unity in the presence of all of our loved ones.
