We met back in 2015 during our Freshman year at the University of San Francisco through mutual friends. We quickly realized we had similar interests and had a lot in common, including both of us pursuing a degree in Kinesiology! We were great friends for just over two years before Kyan made some moves and we began dating. Our first official date was on 7/7/17 at a brunch spot called “The Cottage” in La Jolla. After our time San Francisco, we both decided to become Registered Nurses so we spent a year in Arizona to graduate with our BSNs after our undergraduate degrees. Since then, we have settled back down in Southern California and currently reside in sunny San Diego.

In September of 2023, Camille and Kyan decided to take an impromptu trip to San Francisco to visit some old friends. Camille had been on high alert over the past few months as she was eagerly waiting for Kyan to pop the question. Kyan had several of her family and friends in on the plan and had fully convinced Camille that the proposal would not be on this weekend getaway. On the final day of the trip Kyan took Camille on a beautiful sunset beach walk. Camille had no idea what was to come as she was expecting a relaxing stroll on the beach to a restaurant. After mustering up the courage, Kyan got down on his knee and asked Camille to marry him. She said yes…. well …nodded yes as she was fighting back her tears.
