Ethan and I met at Gateway Church in 2015, finding ourselves in the same life groups. Back then, we were both shy and didn’t really talk to each other until 2017. At the end of 2016, Ethan, showcasing his talents, was involved in organising our youth camps jumpers for our year level's final CNF. When he handed me my jumper, it was clear that he was quite shy and hard to engage in conversation. As a lighthearted joke, I told Ethan, "My New Year's goal for 2017 is to get you to have a conversation with me." Surprisingly, 2017 became not only the only year I ever stuck to my New Year's resolution but changed my life forever.

Ethan and I quickly became close friends and soon developed feelings for each other. By June 4th, 2017, Ethan asked me to be his girlfriend. Since then, our bond has grown stronger as we continue to share our love and support for one another.

In 2021, Ethan gave me a promise ring for our forever, and we moved in together. In 2023, we turned our family of two into a three and welcomed our beautiful dog, Teddy, into our lives. On April 20, 2024, the most magical day so far, Ethan proposed💍🤍
