Like many modern love stories, ours started on Hinge - but from the very first moment, it was clear this wasn’t going to be just any ordinary date.

As I was walking up to meet him, I remember thinking, “What am I getting myself into?”… mostly because he was confidently wearing neon blue shorts and Gucci sunglasses. Bold choice - but somehow, it worked.

What started as a simple dinner quickly turned into hours of conversation and the realization that we had way too many oddly specific things in common. From both working in produce during college, to our shared love for Gordon Ramsay and Titanic, it felt like we had been on the same wavelength long before we ever met.

He even managed to get a kiss on the first date… and the rest is history.

Not long after, he asked me to be his girlfriend the day after my birthday (so he wouldn’t forget), and just like that, a tradition was born. We celebrate our anniversary every single month at Olive Garden - because nothing says lasting love like unlimited breadsticks and consistency.

But somewhere in the middle of all the fun and laughter, there was a moment that made everything clear. During an EP!C Bulldogs basketball game, I watched the way he encouraged and cared for the people I work with every day - the same people who mean so much to me. In that moment, I knew without a doubt: he was the one.

Since then, our story has been full of laughter, love, and a lot of shared quirks and adventures - and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Our life together may be nothing fancy but it’s full of love - and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
