GSP (Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport) is the closest, but might have more select flights and tends to be a little pricier depending on where you are coming from (30 mins from Travelers Rest, SC). CLT (Charlotte Douglas International Airport) will likely have tons of flight options. It just happens to be a little bit more of a drive when you arrive (2 hours from Travelers Rest SC area). AVL (Asheville Regional Airport) This will have the most affordable flights, but wont have very many options. Also could be more risky with winter weather. (Only 44 mins from Travelers Rest, SC). AHN (Athens-Ben Epps Airport) Another option that is a 2H drive from Travelers Rest, SC.

It all started when we decided to finally meet after many sleepless nights getting to know each other over the phone. We first met up in Birkdale, NC at the Mediterranean restaurant CAVA where we both mistakenly filled our cups with plain carbonated "fizzy" water and were too shy to tell each other something didn't taste right (This is something we laugh and joke about now). We had a great first date getting to know each other more and topped off our night with Kilwin's ice cream. We learned that we had many shared interests including cooking and trying new food, playing games, spending time with family, traveling to new and familiar places, and exploring nature, especially in the mountains. We have grown to love plants of all kinds as we have accumulated over 40 different plants! Carly and I have especially connected over our joined passion for following the Lord as we continue to grow stronger in our Faith individually and together. This fact plus each of us having such supportive and loving families have been major factors in us staying steadfast amidst difficult challenges such as Carly's stressful med-school schedule as well as my adapting to switching between remote work and long commutes for work. When we are not working or in school, we love spending time with family and friends, visiting the local farmer's market, trying new local restaurants, and exploring nearby hiking trails.We are so excited to see everyone at our wedding and look forward to being surrounded by those we love!
