Our ceremony and reception will both be held at Oak Hill Farms, located at 8044 N Gabel Ln, Apple River, IL, 61001.

Yes! Oak Hill has plenty of on-site parking that is very walkable.

We ask that everyone dress semi‑formal. Women may choose mid‑length to full‑length dresses, and men should plan on dress pants with a button‑down, an optional tie, and a blazer that we highly recommend (you’ll look great, trust us). The cocktail hour will be on the grass, so ultra‑skinny heels might find themselves sinking—choose something a little sturdier for maximum mingling.

The ceremony will be indoors. Cocktail hour will be outside where you can enjoy the beautiful property, and the reception will be under a spacious gazebo. Please dress for the weather so you can stay comfortable and enjoy every moment.

As much as we’d love to let everyone bring their favorite person, our venue has a firm capacity (and our families filled it very quickly). When you RSVP, it will show how many guests you’re allotted. If you see space for a plus‑one, they’re invited! If not, we sadly couldn’t fit them this time. We appreciate your understanding!

We love children (one of us even works with them every day!), but for our big day we’re keeping it to children who are part of the wedding party. We hope parents enjoy a relaxing, kid‑free evening!

Unfortunately, no. While we do have a hotel block available, we highly recommend teaming up with family or friends, grabbing an Airbnb together, and traveling as a group. It’s more fun anyway!
