Cassidy and Matt's story began during the Spring of 2017 when they crossed paths on the Semester at Sea study abroad program. Interestingly, this was the same program that Matt's Aunt Debbie, Uncle Michael, and Mother Leslie had embarked on earlier. The unique program sailed students around the world, making stops in 10 different countries across 4 continents.

Despite attending different universities (Cassidy at the University of Arizona and Matt at the University of Colorado), fate brought them together in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Remarkably, both originally came from the Chicagoland area.

Their journey began with their shared love for travel, a passion that has continued to shape their relationship. Since their initial meeting abroad, Cassidy and Matt have explored over 6 new countries and ventured to numerous states together.
