First off, we understand that many are traveling from far far places (we see you West Coast family and friends!). So thank you for considering making this trip! If you are flying, the nearest regional airports are the Bangor Airport (~1 hour drive) and Portland Airport (~1.5-2hour drive). The closest international airport is Boston Logan, which is a 3.5-4 hour drive to Belfast. We recommend renting a car no matter where you come from so that you can make the most of your weekend. But if you want to stay in Belfast, it is easy to get around on foot without a car! Also, please contact Eddie and Chloe or their families to explore carpool options, as many folks will have cars and be available for airport pickups or carpools prior to the wedding day.

This is up to you! We will be hosting a very casual, light welcome party for traveling folks that arrive on Thursday August 7th. But, we encourage everyone to do what is best for them, and therefore want to emphasize that this is a highly OPTIONAL event. We realize having a Friday wedding means you are already taking time off work. So, please arrive as early or late as you need. And, understand how grateful we are to have you with us on Friday evening.

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors on grass, so please plan accordingly. Maine weather in August sees warm days and cool evenings, and honestly everything in between. We will have a tent for any weather we might face!

It's loosely semi-formal to formal! But, Chloe loves a reason to dress up as we all know. So, we want to invite high drama summer wedding looks, taking inspiration from seasonal Maine colors! (Think: neutrals with pops of native wildflower colors) Pinterest inspiration board and color palettes to come.
