They say love happens when you least expect it, but we believe love happens right on time. Our story is one of grace, healing, and the kind of love that only God could orchestrate. We didn’t meet by accident. We met after we both had walked through our own valleys, seasons of waiting, growing, and learning what it meant to truly trust God’s plan. And then, in the midst of everyday life, God brought us together. From the start, there was a peace between us. Our values, our vision, our love for family, and most importantly, our love for God. We found comfort in each other’s presence and strength in each other’s prayers. We’ve laughed hard, cried through hard things, prayed even harder, and built something that feels safe, strong, and sacred. He is my promise, and I am his answered prayer. Now, we’re not just planning a wedding…we’re building a legacy. A home full of love, faith, and purpose. And we are so excited to invite you into this beautiful new chapter with us.

For years, Marco and Christina shared mutual friends, but their paths didn’t seem to cross until April of 2023. Marco squeezed in a date with Christina after she finished a shift at the hospital. The date was impromptu and she was still dressed in scrubs. Though the tacos weren’t the best, they laughed and enjoyed each other’s company. The two have been inseparable ever since. At the core of their relationship is a friendship, a commitment, and an understanding. It also helps that they are both deeply committed to their faith!

I met Lennice, my matron of honor while serving in the ministry of movement, a divine connection that blossomed into a lifelong sisterhood. What began as ministry became friendship, and what grew from friendship became family.

My cousin is one of my beautiful bridesmaids—a bond by blood, strengthened by love. She’s been a part of my life since the beginning, and I’m so grateful she’s standing beside me on this special day.

Marco met Chaun in 2003, his freshman year at Alabama State University. Both were members of Tribe of Judah, a recording choir founded on campus.

My daughter is one of my bridesmaids, a moment that brings me so much joy and gratitude. Watching her grow into the young woman she is today and having her stand beside me on this day is a blessing I’ll cherish forever.

Christina has been friends with Javon and his wife Lennice for over a decade. Both have served as a spiritual inspiration to Marco and Christina.
