So that we can invite as many of our special friends as we're able to, we have chosen to have an adults-only wedding ceremony and reception. The only exception to this will be the newest little Watson, Tom Rinze - our nephew and ringbearer.

You may be choosing to have a sneaky wee couples' escape! But if you are choosing a family trip, you may need babysitting during our wedding ceremony and reception.

Both the Fable Christchurch and Sudima Christchurch City hotels offer babysitting services by prior arrangement. Other accommodations may also provide this service if you enquire directly.

The Christchurch Babysitting Bureau have a call-out service and has been taking care of families in motels, hotels and parents' private homes for approximately 30 years.

As we don't yet have children, we have not used any of these services ourselves. But we trust that you will do your own due diligence to ensure your kids are safe and happy, whichever arrangements you choose.

It may work for you to connect with other guests who are parents and coordinate your childcare needs together - such as sharing an Air BnB and babysitter. If you're interested, we've popped a question in your online RSVP to cover this.
