Nathan and Christy first met at their church in Beijing in September 2015. At the first meeting Nathan was immediately interested in the bright shining happy joyful and servant hearted Christy! Christy however thought that Nathan was a very nice 45-year-old white man with a big beard. After getting to know one another Nathan and Christy quickly realized that God had brought them together!

After dating from November 2015 they were engaged to be married in May 2016 and married on October 8 of 2016. With Nathan‘s love of China and Christy’s love of America Nathan and Christy make the perfect cross cultural couple.
