However, they split up after two months and decided to just be friends. It was after that that they built an even stronger friendship over the course of a year before they started to develop a romantic relationship again. While they weren’t dating during this time, they became best friends and shared a lot of time together in church, with friends, at Jake’s concerts, shooting photos together, and other areas of life that they both shared with each other and bonded over together - the most important bond being in their love for the Lord.

After Jake moved to California in August of 2018, Jake and Cierra both began to realize how much they loved each other and never wanted their lives apart.

Their wedding day will mark 5 years since they began dating from that day.
