Dariyan first met Josh through their mutual friend and bridesmaid, Anna, who introduced them at a music festival in 2021. They hit it off immediately, spending hours talking at the campsite. Although they spent the rest of the weekend with their friends, Josh got Dariyan’s number before they parted ways. A week later, Dariyan drove to Eau Claire, where Josh took her on a somewhat spontaneous date that started with brunch and ended with a baseball game. Over the last four years, they’ve built new friendships, spent a lot of time at UW-Stout, watched their puppies Goose and Porter become best friends, and created countless memories from traveling to National Parks to renovating campers and buying their first home. After three years of dating, Josh planned the perfect surprise during a trip to Glacier National Park in Montana, where he dropped to one knee and asked Dariyan to spend forever with him. Now, they are excited to start the next chapter of their story and continue to grow their relationship with each new adventure.
