The Fairfield Inn is fully booked excluding our 10 rooms so unfortunately they will have no more rooms to release to our guests other than the ones we have booked. We are so excited to see all of our out-of-town loved ones and we are beyond grateful and blessed you plan to travel to celebrate this big moment with us! What first brought Dax and Holly together was something they both deeply loved — sports. On a cool spring night in early March of 2023, beneath the bright ball field lights at American Christian Academy — Holly’s alma mater — their story quietly began. Dax was on the mound that night, pitching for the Hale County Wildcats, completely unaware that he had just caught the attention of the girl who would one day become his wife. At the time, Holly wasn’t looking for a relationship. She enjoyed the game, went about her evening, and thought little of it. But as the Lord would have it, the very next night they found themselves in the same place again — this time through mutual friends. What felt like coincidence was anything but. Dax walked up, introduced himself, and they began talking… and talking… and talking. Conversation came effortlessly, as if they had known each other their entire lives. That night, Dax fell hard. Holly, though guarded at first, couldn’t ignore how natural it all felt. What started with long conversations turned into even longer phone calls and countless texts. Somewhere between the laughter and late-night talks, Holly’s heart began to soften. Then on April 10th, 2023, Dax asked Holly to be his girlfriend — and she said yes. Over the next three years, they grew up together. They celebrated victories, navigated challenges, and learned how to love each other more deeply with each passing season. Their love is steady, joyful, and rare — the kind that feels both exciting and safe all at once. They learned to put the Lord at the very center of their relationship, choosing to love sacrificially and intentionally, striving to reflect Christ in the way they care for one another. Of course, with two competitive athletes, there have been playful rivalries along the way — especially when it comes to baseball. As a devoted fan of the Atlanta Braves, one may clash from time to time with a loyal supporter of the Los Angeles Dodgers. But they always find common ground cheering for Alabama Crimson Tide football — a shared love that runs deep. On March 1st, 2025, Dax got down on one knee and asked Holly to spend forever with him. With grateful hearts and joyful tears, they stepped into a new chapter — one they know was written long before that first glance under the stadium lights. Dax and Holly are overwhelmed with gratitude for the family and friends who have loved, supported, and encouraged them along the way. They truly believe they would not be where they are without the prayers, wisdom, and steady presence of those around them. Above all, they know this story is not theirs alone. The ultimate Author is the Lord, who brought them together in His perfect timing. He has taught them to love selflessly, to forgive quickly, and to build a life that honors Him. All glory and honor belong to the Lord our God — the One who wrote their love story from the very beginning. And they cannot wait to continue writing the rest of it together.
