Our love story is the kind that makes you believe in fate, timing, and a touch of magic. We grew up in the same small town—imagine quiet streets, friendly neighbors, and plenty of mutual friends. Yet somehow, our paths never crossed. It’s almost unbelievable, but sometimes love likes to play a little hide-and-seek before making an entrance.

Our first real meeting happened at a mutual friend's repass. The room was filled with laughter, memories, and that warm sense of community only a small town can offer. Everyone there seemed to know Warren (affectionately known as "Little Yogi") except me. As I asked around about this mysterious man, people could hardly believe I had never met him. According to Warren, I couldn’t take my eyes off of him, and he might just be right!

At that time in my life I was busy—juggling school, work, and planning a big move across the country. I wasn’t looking for any distractions, but love has a way of rewriting your plans. Each Wednesday Warren would stop by my house on his way to care for his mother. Those little moments grew into something special and I became his “Wednesday Girl.” I was swept off my feet by his genuine swagger and baby face.

When I made my move across the country, our story did not pause—it blossomed. Long distance meant hours of talking, sharing stories, and truly getting to know each other's hearts. We built a bond that went far beyond the many miles between us..

One thing that always kept us strong was faith. Warren, who calls God “The Sky Chief,” brings Him into every decision. For both of us, faith was our guiding light—leading us through distance and bringing us closer together.

Now with our wedding a little under 90 days away, we feel that we are proof that love always finds a way, even if it decides to take the scenic route.
