Airport: Santa Barbara Airport (SBA)SBA is the nearest and most convenient option for all guests. It’s a small, easy airport located just 10 minutes from Goleta and 15–20 minutes from Santa Barbara. If you prefer a larger airport, LAX is ~2 hours south, but we recommend SBA whenever possible.

Where to Stay

Our venue, Tuscan Hills, is located in Goleta, just north of Santa Barbara. Guests can comfortably stay in either area: Santa Barbara (More lively and what we would recommend)Beautiful, walkable, and full of restaurants, wine bars, and beaches. Only a short drive to Goleta. Wedding Day Transportation

There is no parking available at Tuscan Hills, and all guests are required to take the wedding shuttle. Shuttle Pick-Up Begins: 2:45 PM Pick-Up Location: The Hilton Garden Inn 6878 Hollister Ave, Goleta, CA 93117 Return shuttles will run throughout the evening. Please plan your travel accordingly so you don’t miss the shuttle window.

Local Tips

Santa Barbara is at its absolute best in late August: warm days, cool evenings, and perfect beach weather. Downtown SB offers great restaurants, wine tasting rooms, and shops if you’re looking to explore before or after the wedding.

The Funk Zone

Our absolute favorite place in town. Located right next to the water, the Funk Zone is a walkable neighborhood full of wineries, breweries, restaurants, art murals, and beach paths all in one place. Santa Barbara Arts & Crafts Show

Day: Sunday What: The perfect post-wedding Sunday stroll. Local artists and creators line the waterfront with handmade jewelry, art, and crafts. It’s one of Santa Barbara’s oldest traditions. Location: The Funk Zone— Along Cabrillo Boulevard at East Beach — near 236 E Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

Walk State Street

The heart of downtown Santa Barbara. State Street is pedestrian-friendly, full of outdoor dining, boutiques, coffee shops, and endless people-watching. Great for an afternoon wander.

Santa Barbara Harbor

A classic SB experience. Start at Dart Coffee Co. (right by the water), then walk along the harbor toward Sandspit Beach for a beautiful coastal walk with ocean views, boats, and sea lions.

Leadbetter Point

A calm and scenic waterfront area perfect for a morning walk. Grab a coffee and enjoy the coastal path, especially during golden hour.

Franceschi Park

For the best view of the entire city, take a quick drive up to Franceschi Park. It overlooks the ocean, downtown, and the mountains — a great spot for photos or a quiet moment.

Old Mission Santa Barbara

A must-see landmark and one of the most photographed places in town. Known as the “Queen of the Missions,” it features beautiful rose gardens, mountain views, and a historic church dating back to 1786. Great for a peaceful walk, photos, or a quick bit of local history. Address: 2201 Laguna St, Santa Barbara, CA 93105

FORMAL

We’d love for our guests to dress accordingly for a romantic evening celebration.Think timeless, elevated, and polished. Please keep in mind that the evening will take place outdoors on natural terrain, so we recommend choosing footwear accordingly. Temperatures on the coast may also cool down after sunset, so bringing a light layer is encouraged. For gentlemen, we recommend suits or dress pants with a button-down and jacket. For ladies, formal dresses or elevated cocktail attire.
