In late March 2020, Elisabeth was living at Home, in Bellevue, with her parents and decided to download, yep you guessed it, a dating app. She bravely started a conversation with a boy who went to Hume-Fogg and knowing the answer to the question, her "brave" pick-up line to get the convo flowing was "Hey, did you go to Hume-Fogg?"
And the rest is history...
Elisabeth and Griffin hit it off! Bonding over the fact that they had grown up just miles apart from each other in Bellevue, at the BSAA baseball fields, went to the same Middle School, High School, and College, yet never became friends until the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
They texted and called each other every day for the first month until they were finally able to see each other when Elisabeth moved out and into her first apartment. From that point on they were inseparable, literally, because they had to quarantine together.
That Summer, they kayaked over 100 miles together on the Harpeth River, and that's where they truly fell in love.
In April of 2021, they moved into a Bellevue apartment together with their cat, Roo, and shortly thereafter, their family grew by one more 4 legged fur baby, Maple.
Together, the couple has gone through two job changes, two apartments, and they purchased their home together on May 24, 2023, the same day that Griffin got down on one knee and asked Elisabeth to be his wife.
They are truly each other's closest friends and cannot wait to take on the journey of life together as The Sullivant's.
