Two airports serve Princeton.Newark Airport is a more convenient option for travelers who prefer public transportation. <a href="http://njtransit.com" target="_blank">New Jersey transit</a> serves Princeton Station for $19 (you need to change trains at Princeton Junction Station), and the journey takes about 55 mins. There are taxis serving the hotel at both Princeton Station and Princeton Junction Station. Alternatively, cars can be rented at Newark airport. The distance to the hotel is 44 miles and the journey takes about 1 hour 10 minutes.Philadelphia airport is another option.Public transportation from Philadelphia airport is possible, but more involved, and car rental is probably the best option. The distance to the hotel is 53 miles and the journey takes about 1 hour.

There is a bike path along the road and the hotel offers complimentary bike rental. The hotel also offers free shuttle to Princeton. If you prefer alternative accommodations, other hotels in the area include the Nassau Inn in downtown Princeton (10 Palmer Square, Princeton, NJ 08542, <a href="http://www.nassauinn.com/" target="_blank">website</a>), and a number of other hotels along Route 1, including Hyatt Regency Princeton (102 Carnegie Center Dr, Princeton, NJ 08540, <a href="http://princeton.hyatt.com/en/hotel/home.html" target="_blank">website</a>), and Clarion Hotel Palmer Inn (3499 Route 1 South, Princeton, New Jersey 08540, <a href="http://clarionhotelpalmerinn.hotelsone.com/‎" target="_blank">website</a>. Please be aware that although some of these hotels offer free shuttle service to Princeton, a car may be required to get to and from the wedding location.

If you are arriving by car from Trenton/Philadelphia, please note that the section of Carter Rd between 206 and Van Kirk Rd will be closed for bridge construction. You can get to the wedding venue by instead turning left from 206 onto Province Line Rd.

Travel

The system of running/bike trails by the hotel is great for both <a href="http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6783248" target="_blank">shorter</a> and <a href="http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6783248" target="_blank">longer</a> runs. There is good trail running at the<a href="https://goo.gl/maps/f3kyqYQiLXK2" target="_blank"> Institute Woods</a>, or along the <a href="https://goo.gl/maps/p3fV7LPHUz52" target="_blank">Carnegie lake</a> that continues as the D&amp;R Canal. These trails are also suitable for mountain bikes. The D&amp;R canal by Princeton University has <a href="http://www.princetoncanoe.com/" target="_blank">kayaking and canoeing</a>.

Outdoors

Princeton University has a free <a href="http://artmuseum.princeton.edu/" target="_blank">art museum</a>, and offers <a href="https://www.princeton.edu/main/visiting/tours/" target="_blank">campus tours</a>. <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Einstein_House" target="_blank">Albert Einstein's house</a> is close to the university at 112 Mercer Street, but it's not open to the public. <a href="http://www.groundsforsculpture.org/" target="_blank">Grounds for sculpture</a> is a short drive away. <a href="http://www.visitprinceton.org/activities/history/princetonbattlefield/" target="_blank">Princeton Battlefield State Park</a> is great for picnics, strolling about, and kite-flying. <a href="http://www.visitprinceton.org" target="_blank">visitprinceton.org</a> has lots of information about these and other options.
