-South Slope Brewery District- 8+ breweries in walkable distance with plenty of puppers to pet along the way.

-The Funkatorium by Wicked Weed is a must if you like sour beers

-Burial Brewing is our all time favorite

RIVER ARTS DISTRICT

Stretches over a mile and is made up of 22 buildings housing more than 200 local artists. The area is beautifully nestled along the French Broad River.

BLACK MOUNTAIN

Cute mountain town just East of Asheville. They have a main street with lots of boutiques, restaurants, and of course...breweries.

-Lookout Brewing

-Pisgah

BLUERIDGE PARKWAY

You can't go wrong with a ride along the Blueridge Parkway. Guaranteed beautiful views with tons of great overlooks to pull off and soak in the magic of the mountains.

HIKING

Rattlesnake Mountain- 2.6 mile out-and-back trail near Montreat, NC. Moderately challenging with some rock scrambling at the top. AMAZING views.

Catawba Falls- 2 mile out-and-back hike, relatively flat terrain brings you to the bottom of the falls. About 30 mins east of Asheville in Old Fort, NC

Black Balsam- about 45 minutes along the Blueridge. 1-1.5 mile hike with breathtaking views!

Craggy Gardens Trail- 2.2 Mile out-and-back trail near Barnardsville, NC off the Blueridge Parkway.


Fryingpan Mountain Lookout Tower- 1.5 mile out and back trail near Pisgah Forest off the Blueridge.

Max Patch- A little ways Northwest of Asheville, but one of the most famous sections of the AT.


Mount Mitchell- Several different routes you can take with varying mileage. Highest point east of the Mississippi River.


4 Waterfalls Trail- 5.8 Mile out and back trail near Hendersonville, NC just south of Asheville.
