Bemis and Emily met in the summer of 2014 at what is arguably the most romantic spot in the state, Which Wich Superior Sandwiches in Middleton.

Their love blossomed among the five-gallon tubs of mayonnaise and imitation crab meat and in time Bemis asked Emily out on a date at Lakeview Park, where they lay by the pond and read the books that they had brought for each other.

Over the years, the two surfed life's adventures together; finishing college, finding careers, and getting into all sorts of shenanigans along the way like adopting a sweet pup by the name of Sora who brings oodles of joy to their small family.

After eight years together and the desire for many more, the two climbed a mountain at the Jedediah Smith Wilderness in Wyoming and proposed to each other on the cliffs as the wildflowers transitioned to snow and Sora observed as their only witness.

A solid decade together will lay the groundwork for their marriage on September 21st, 2024. As many adventures as they have had, they are sure to have many more.
