After getting to know each other over the first year of high school and spending many lunch shifts, walks to class, and FFA trips together, Emma and David grew close and started dating in the spring of 2017.

Proms, football games, and high school graduation were just chapters in their love story. These high school sweethearts were inseparable; they even chose the same college to attend (Emma decided first!). College brought new adventures and challenges, but Emma and David faced them together and supported one another. Their college years were just a whirlwind of adventures and new experiences that they shared together.

On April 7th, 2023 (Emma and David's 6th year dating anniversary), David took Emma out for dinner at Colton's Steakhouse (one of their favorites!). And after a nice meal, they ventured back to Emma's house. David got down on one knee and asked Emma to spend forever with him as his wife. She was completely surprised and extremely excited to say, “Yes!”

We are so appreciative of all the love and excitement that we have received from friends and family since getting engaged. We could not be more excited to start the next chapter of our lives together and celebrate with our favorite people.
