Erika had been stalking flights to Athens for a few weeks because literally everyone went to Europe in summer 2022. Erika was robbed of her Greece trip with her mom, Roni, in September 2020. So she convinced Dan to go with her in September 2022.

Just to spice the Greece trip up and stress themselves out even more, Dan and Erika closed on a house September 20th, the day before departing for Greece.

Before they knew it, it was time to depart! JFK to Athens. Greece, here they come!

They made it! Hello, Athens! This picture was taken at the top of the Acropolis. Please note Dan is wearing a backpack, something he has literally never done in Erika's presence before.

On to the next one! The 2nd stop on this trip was Santorini. Dan and Erika took the world's earliest flight to the island. They spent the day sailing on a catamaran around the Aegean sea. Lots of hop on, hop off swimming! The first night was spent on a clifftop overlooking the famous Santorini sunset. Ironically, it was freezing and cloudy so there was no sunset.

Day 2! Erika's time to shine! Erika planned a winery tour of Santorini. They stopped at Gavalas Winery, Santo Wines, and the third and final stop for sunset... Venetsanos Winery.
