Fala and Landon met in 2020 through mutual friends while attending Kansas State University. After months of talking while Landon was quarantined at the ranch, Landon finally took Fala on their first date to El Patron in Manhattan, KS. They continued dating throughout their time at school, enjoying sorority date parties, hunting trips, and weekends back home with their families.

After Landon graduated, they spent one year doing long distance, traveling back and forth, while Landon worked in Omaha, Nebraska. By the time Fala graduated, Landon had moved back to Manhattan for work. The couple both found careers that they love and have enjoyed living near their alma mater. They added their spunky miniature dachshund, Dolly, to the family at the beginning of 2023. She has added so much joy and fun to their lives.

On July 29th, 2023, Landon asked Fala to marry him. Since then, the couple has spent time wedding planning, traveling, developing in their careers, and most recently, moving to Olsburg, KS. They cannot wait to continue their lives together, now as husband and wife.
