Glenda and Hamid's first date was at Cold Stone Creamery, and she brought a BOGO (Buy One Get One) coupon. Hamid thought it was hilarious, but also loved that she embraced being frugal as much as he did. Glenda did all of the talking, and at the end of the date, she realized she had not asked him anything - and promptly said "do you like movies?" Nonetheless, they agreed on a second date. The next day they had a charcuterie date and talked for hours. They quickly realized just how compatible they are, and the rest, as they say, was history.

They love traveling together and plan on exploring new parts of the country and globe. So far, they have been to Colombia, Portugal, Canada, Mexico, Honduras, Jamaica, and several states in the US. They also enjoy hiking, watching standup comedy, museums, attending plays at the Indiana Repertory Theatre, and eating delicious foods (especially Thai, Indian, and gelato).
