Sometimes the most beautiful love stories don’t begin perfectly—they begin quietly, unexpectedly… and grow into something so deep it changes your entire life.
Ours started with friendship. Just time spent together—weekends filled with laughter, late nights talking about nothing and everything, finding comfort in each other without even realizing what was building underneath it all. It felt easy. It felt safe. And somehow, without us even noticing at first, it started to feel like home.
Then came a weekend that would change everything.
We went to a cabin with friends, expecting nothing more than a good time. But that Saturday night became the moment our entire story shifted. I remember being told to go down to the dock… and when I got there, I saw it—little candles glowing softly in the dark, spelling out a question that would change my life forever.
Will you be my girlfriend?
In that moment, time felt like it stood still. My heart knew the answer before my words even came out. I said yes… and that was the night of our first kiss. The night something real, something lasting, something unforgettable began.
From that moment on, everything started to fall into place—but not without learning, growing, and facing life head-on together.
We spent more time together, until it didn’t make sense to be apart anymore. Joe moved in, and before we even had the chance to slow down, life gave us something even bigger—our first baby.
When Greyson was born, everything changed in the most overwhelming and beautiful way. We weren’t just us anymore—we were a family. Two people trying to figure it out, learning how to be parents, learning how to be strong for someone else. There were nights we didn’t know what we were doing, moments we felt exhausted, but through all of it… we had each other.
Then came Braxton.
And suddenly, life felt even fuller, even louder, even more real. We were raising two little lives, trying to build something stable, something meaningful, something that would last. It wasn’t always easy—we struggled, we learned, we had moments where everything felt overwhelming—but we never stopped showing up.
We moved into a townhouse, then eventually into a house we could truly call our own. Building a home while raising two kids wasn’t simple… there were moments of doubt, moments of stress, moments where life felt heavy. But we kept going. We kept choosing each other.
And then came Oaklynn.
Our family felt complete in a way that’s hard to explain. Three beautiful children who carry pieces of both of us. Three reasons to keep pushing forward, even on the hardest days.
But our story didn’t come without pain.
There was a time where we lost our way. A time where life, stress, and everything we were carrying became too much, and we found ourselves apart. And I won’t pretend that it didn’t break something inside of me… because it did. It hurt in a way that’s hard to describe—the kind of hurt that makes you question everything.
But even through that heartbreak… even through that distance… something never fully let go.
And somehow, we found our way back.
Not as the same people—but as stronger ones. More understanding. More patient. More aware of what we had and what we could lose. We didn’t just come back together—we rebuilt something deeper, something more intentional, something unbreakable.
We chose each other again.
And that choice means more than anything.
Because now, standing here, looking at everything we’ve been through—the love, the struggles, the growth, the tears, the laughter—I realize that every single part of our journey led us exactly where we were meant to be.
To this moment.
To this forever.
With our three beautiful children by our side, we are so incredibly grateful. Grateful for the life we’ve built, for the love that never gave up, and for the second chance that turned into something even more beautiful than the first.
And I cannot wait to say “I do” in Rush City on June 19th, 2027—surrounded by the life, the love, and the family we fought so hard to build.
Because our story isn’t perfect.
It’s real.
And it’s ours.
And I wouldn’t change a single part of it… because it gave me you.
