Alder and Haifa briefly met through an acquaintance at the SD County Fair after doing a show with her Polynesian group. A few years later they began to run into each other often at hookah bars. Alder then using his DJ/promotor card asked Haifa for her number with his T-Mobile sidekick. Since then they started to see each other a lot in the nightlife where Alder was the DJ of Infinite Ent and Haifa was a temporary club promoter with Juicy Ent (thanks to Leen MOH). In 2010 Alder sent out a mass text for a New Years Eve club event that he would be dj-ing at. Haifa was one of the many recipients and she replied back saying I don't have a date for NYE. Thanks though. Alder saw an opportunity to shoot his shot. 2 months later he finally got the courage to officially ask her to be his girlfriend. Fast forward 10 years later, with the small assist from Jade (MOH) he finally asked her the big question, and with Haifa's answer of It's about fucking time!
