Our story starts where most great love stories begin- The Ocean Drive in Sea Isle City. The fateful night led to two summers of dancing, laughing, and sunset pizzas on the beach. But fall came along, and distance separated us.

We stayed in each others lives while Jim stayed in New Jersey and Haley moved to Virginia. Every summer when Haley would come back to Strathmere, we would catch up over drinks and see each other on the beach.

2020 brought the lockdown, and the lockdown brought Haley back home to Strathmere. We went out to a brewery, and while catching up on our lives, we realized that distance was not something that could stop our love. While sitting on the dock watching the sunset, we shared our first kiss in four years, and never looked back again.

In July 2023, we headed to France for a trip of a lifetime. We exited from our train into Luxembourg Gardens, a sight that will forever stay with us. Two days later Jim proposed on that very spot, on the morning of Haley's 30th birthday. The rest of the trip and summer became one continual celebration.
