Sharing multiple classes at DH Conley, Coleman, and Haley first met as freshmen in high school. During their sophomore year, they became close friends during Spanish Class (Coleman needed some help with his assignments, or so he said). They remained friends all through high school, where Haley attended several of his DH Conley Baseball games with her "wing girl" Lilly. Lilly was the one who encouraged Haley along the way which included a few TikToks about those "Baseball" boys until Coleman finally asked her out, shortly after graduation.

July 4th, 2021 - Fireworks at the Town Commons in Greenville, where they talked the night away to learn a little more about each other! From that night on, they have been inseparable!

One summer night in June, Coleman took Haley to Atlantic Beach for a date. Coleman knew this would be the night he would ask his future wife to marry him. They sat down and ate dinner where Haley was unsuspecting of anything. Once dinner was over, they decided to take a walk on the beach. Coleman was very nervous, he planned for a photographer to be there to capture the special moment - Emily (the photographer) actually passed them on the boardwalk and pretended to take photos of a random couple to throw Haley off. They exited the boardwalk to the left to give Emily time to get in place, and then Coleman turned them around to head towards the pier. Once Haley started pointing out to the ocean, Coleman got down on one knee and asked Haley to spend forever with him. Coleman had their parents watching from the pier, and once Haley took Coleman in her arms, he called his mom for all of them to join them under the pier.
