Sam and Haley met in January of 2019 after they had agreed to meet up for a photoshoot. Haley was working on building a modeling portfolio with an agency in Omaha while Sam was building his small business of photography.

Sam slyly messaged Haley on Instagram asking to meet January 25th, gladly she said yes! After waiting 2 hours until Sam showed up (what a nice gal) he informs her it is actually his birthday and had some things come up.

They went on with the photoshoot around Main Street Ankeny and that was that. They rekindled to shoot again later that year in September and started to hang out more frequently. While Haley insisted they were JUST FRIENDS, as she wanted no part of a relationship while Ultrasound boards were right around the corner for her and that was her only focus.

November 11, 2019 Sam asked Haley to be his girlfriend, she replied "What are you going to do if I say no?". Sam replied "I'll just ask again". From here she decided to say yes as there was no getting away from this guy, and they both madly fell in love quickly. 4 years and 3 dogs later, the rest is history!
